Cyprus Dialogue Forum (CDF) is a non-governmental organization founded in 2014 by a group of Cypriot leaders, peace advocates, and community representatives. Based in Nicosia, the organization is dedicated to fostering dialogue, reconciliation, and cooperation between the Greek and Turkish Cypriot communities, as well as other ethnic and religious groups on the island.
The mission of CDF is to promote peaceful coexistence by creating safe spaces for open dialogue, addressing the historical and current challenges faced by the people of Cyprus, and encouraging cross-community collaboration. Through its initiatives, CDF works to bridge divides, reduce polarization, and support the reconciliation process through facilitated discussions, workshops, and public events.
With a Steering Committee guiding its work, Cyprus Dialogue Forum (CDF) brings together experts in peacebuilding, conflict resolution, and intercultural dialogue. The organization’s approach emphasizes inclusivity and understanding, providing opportunities for individuals from diverse backgrounds to engage in constructive conversations that foster mutual respect.
Through its efforts, CDF aims to contribute to a peaceful, united Cyprus by strengthening the bonds between communities and promoting democratic values and human rights.
